A Monk Swimming (1998) is a memoir by Malachy McCourt of his life in Limerick, Ireland, and of his experiences when he came to America. The book recounts the journey and the many obstacles that McCourt had to overcome. After first working as a longshoreman, he was able to open a successful Manhattan tavern frequented by entertainment celebrities, and appeared on television talk shows, although neglecting his wife and child.
The Bourne Identity is a 1981 spy fiction thriller by Robert Ludlum based on the protagonist Jason Bourne, a retrograde amnesiac who finds himself in the state of delirium and hence must discover his true identity. He also tries to reason out as to why several subversive groups, a professional assassin, and the CIA, want him dead. The story takes a reader on an eventful, fast-paced and action-packed journey of deception, conspiracy, and suspense. It offers readers an insight into the mind of the protagonist - Jason Bourne, and to experience firsthand, his decision making process. This is the first release to the original Bourne Trilogy sequel.
Kevin Walters married Kim and they had three sons, Jack, Billy and Jett. In 1996 Walters' wife, Kim, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following her death in 1998, Kevin established the Kim Walters Choices program, a free community service that offers support to people diagnosed with cancer at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane.
