Event Opal speakers / monitors + stands and cables (3 months old) in HIGHGATE HILL, Queensland for sale

Selling my Event Opal 8-inch powered professional studio monitors (x 2) and black sand-filled DIY stands (approximately 60 cm high). I will also include 2 x 3 metre and 2 x 1.5 metre XLR cables. The monitors include the Studio EQ room calibration system (which includes a microphone and software).
Speakers were purchased from Musiclab in Brisbane on 19 July 2014. Less than 50 hours use.
These are 8-inch professional studio monitors. These are amazing speakers, particularly for the price. Great body and bass with almost no need for a subwoofer, excellent imaging and very flat as you'd expect from monitors. They have a response of 30Hz to 10kHz and power handling up to 1000 watts. Also have built-in EQ correction which the Studio EQ system obviously helps with. Excellent condition, only one small mark on the top back of one of the speaker cabinets. As mentioned, only a few months old and barely used. I have all of the original packaging and the receipt.
Reason for sale is that unfortunately I have just moved into a fairly small, concrete apartment. The room is very poor for speakers and will be difficult to treat. I'm also not able to use them as I would like to given my concern not to bother my neighbours! So I am having to move back to a headphone setup.
Pickup from Highgate Hill, 4101, or postage could be arranged at the buyer's cost (note they are about 25 - 30 kg each).
